Yesterday evening was the launch night for the End of Year Show at Leeds College of Art – ‘Extra-Ordinary’. I exhibited 6 pieces, although I didn’t get many photos other than during set up… There were too many people to talk to and way too much art to see. I exhibited a couple of my torture tool prints and all 4 of my folklore creatures.
It was a dead fun night and amazing to be a part of. The standard of everyone’s work was brilliant and it was great to see how far we’ve all come and how much we’ve all changed since starting the course. Plus there was free booze…
You can catch the show at Leeds College of Art, Blenheim Walk, from Saturday 10th til Thursday 15th June. The Illustration course’s show is up on the second floor and you can find a load of free postcards with samples of everyone’s work outside the studio. There’s also an Art Market downstairs featuring work from some of the creatives involved, where you can buy loads of stuff like stickers, postcards, greetings cards, prints, ceramics, jewellery, clothing etc etc.
